Reiki Treatments

Reiki is a system of natural healing, that was discovered by Dr Maikao Usui in the early 1900's. It has been passed down from teacher to student ever since. When receiving a Reiki treatment, you are receiving Universal Energy, and studies have shown that it can lower blood pressure, speed wound healing time, reduce stress and is effective in the management of pain. Reiki will heal at a soul level and it is usual that you will receive benefits whatever your symptoms are, this is not always achieved with only one treatment, but great improvements are usually felt after the first treatment, indeed that may be all that is required. Reiki can do no harm and it compliments other health care options and medical treatments, and as such it should never be considered as a replacement for traditional medical advice.

During a Reiki treatment you will be asked to lay on a massage table, or sit in a chair and just relax and be open to receiving the energy. You will remain fully clothed for the treatment and it usually takes between 45 minutes to an hour for a full treatment, and between 20 minutes to half an hour for a quick treatment. During this time, I will place hands either over your body or just lightly touching and I will be sending the energy constantly. Both, the full treatment or the half hour treatment are available through the 'bookings' tab on this web page. I will return your contact with a view to booking a time for your treatment.  

Remote / Distant Treatments 

The Reiki energy can be sent through time and space, so it is possible to send and receive Reiki Healing from a distance. If you are unable to attend an in person treatment, you are still able to receive the benefits of a Reiki Healing Session. During this remote treatment you can carry on with your daily routine and still receive the energy, but you will receive more benefits if you take the time out, to relax and be still, for the agreed time of the treatment. I usually do encourage this 'time out' when I send healing, but all that is really required is that you are open to receiving the healing energy. This option is available from the 'Bookings' tab. I will contact you after the healing session to inform you of any findings, or messages that were received during the time I was connected with you.

Reiki Courses and Attunements

Reiki is available to everyone through a series of attunements. There are three levels of Reiki available and each one connects you deeper to the Reiki energy. Once you have been attuned to the energy, you will be able to send Reiki to people in person or to people on the other side of the globe. You will have the ability to energise your food so that you get the maximum benefit from it. Reiki Level I opens the channels for the Reiki energy, it is great for self treatments and in person hands on healing. If you decide you would like to do more with the energy you would move on to Reiki Level II whereby you would be given the ability to send the healing energy to people who are located in distant places, heal emotional issues specifically and increase your connection to the energy. Reiki Master level is the highest level of Reiki, whereby you receive the 'master' symbol that gives you the deepest connection to universal energy. With Reiki you may find that your spiritual awareness increases and you feel more grounded and connected to earth and the universe. I offer courses through the shop tab and they are available whether in person or as an online course if you live too far away. When you purchase a distant Reiki course and attunement you will receive a comprehensive manual for the level you are undertaking. I will be on hand to give you full support and guidance, and we will agree to a time for the attunement process to take place. On completion and attunement to the different levels you will receive a certificate and your Reiki lineage which traces you back to Dr Usui.
